Meet BigPapaSmall

Hey!  My name is Brian aka BigPapaSmall. I was born in Pine Bluff. As my parents got promotions in their jobs or sometimes changed jobs completely, we moved from city to city.  I have been by the lake at Heber Springs and in the mountains in Harrison.  My longest stretch and where I have now called home is the beautiful Northwest Arkansas.  Nestled in the Ozark Mountains there is so much beauty in this area.  Not to mention this is where the Razorbacks are. 

Growing up I had several ideas of what my life would look like one day, and no this wasn’t my first plan.  I loved playing baseball on the little league field and like most kids, I was going to go pro and play for the STL Cardinals.  When I got burnt out with baseball, I turned to just enjoying life and the lake.  My friends and I were some of the most reckless and crazy kids around town.  We were either racing our four wheelers or dirt bikes, or having tube battles while we were on the lake.  If there was something to do outdoors or sports related, I was all about it. 

Fast forward to high school and I found a new passion, by accident mind you… I was put into an intro to film and video class because I was one elective short for my schedule.  I tried and tried to get transferred out of the class the first week, but when I came to grips with the fact I was stuck, it ended up being my favorite class I ever took.  Little did I know at the time, this was the point in my life that would set me down the path that would lead me to my wife and eventually our small family.  Thank God that the councilors did not allow me to transfer to whatever class I was trying to get into. 

I ended up going to a small college in South Arkansas about an hour and a half from where I was born, Southern Arkansas University Tech in Camden Arkansas.  I got my Associates in Multimedia with an emphasis in Film and Video and a technical certificate in Graphic Design. I eventually got a Bachelors Degree in Marketing Management from WGU online, after a semester at the U of A (Expensive season tickets in Football and Basketball).

Once I graduated, I moved back to Northwest Arkansas and interned with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.  I got paid to film baseball and it was a pretty close to a dream job, but minus the dream pay. 

Jump to the Present day… We live in NWA and I am a REALTOR®, business owner (Gravity Design Labs and an Etsy Shop), and a Sports Enthusiast.
